A high-quality print produced on thick, matte paper.
The Giclée printing process results in stunning images, full of exquisite and luxurious detail. With seven dye-based inks (which offer a vast range of colors), this process retains even the finest elements of a given artwork. Since my photographs incorporate ample darkness and shadow, Giclée printing ensures that even the smallest details are captured, while offering a lower price point than an exhibition-quality fine art print.
Giclee Prints are Archival - 100 years, 200 in dark storage.
Life in spring is so hopeful.
So new, and green, and young. The buds and plants bursting into color around us. Baby animals stepping out for the first time. The skies becoming blue again after a long winter. Tendrils of tiny saplings reaching out of the soil, searching for sun.
I have felt lately like anything could be possible. I am taking a great deal of effort to make free time in which time enjoy that feeling. The comfort in spring is that nature is anywhere you care to look, and free to all. It costs me nothing to sit under a tree, listen to a stream, or watch a bird.
Life feels so confined, pre-ordained and expensive at times. Stealing moments from modernity to invest in daydreams about forests, flowers, and the sweet sunshine on the side of a mountain is a worthwhile practice.
Hesitating just a moment outside on your way to a busy life, yields gifts. Stop to appreciate a spring rain, the song of a sparrow in the yard, or a small flower somehow growing in the city sidewalk. These are moments of small magic, and they are free to take and keep.
Anyone can find hope for renewal and growth, somewhere in the limitless greens of the springtime, when we are all reaching out of the dark towards the sky.
