A visual poem to beautiful summer sunsets, ripe fruit, and balmy breezes. This is also a piece full of shadow. I think a lot of us have felt sort of adrift lin our lives, I know I have. In the dark, fumbling around. But there are always lights in the dark, and I wanted this to represent that. The dahlias almost glow in the dark thicket of leaves, reminding us there is beauty and sun anywhere, if we know how to look for it.
